HNA Game Protocols and other notes
- Scorekeepers/timekeeper is a league official and should be knowledgeable about rules and policies
- If there isn't a timekeeper at the start of a HNA game we then go to a running clock. They should play three 25 minute
running time periods with penalties being 3:00 minutes instead of 2:00, per the rule book. If there is not enough time to
complete the last period, the period should end when the ice time does, whether the clock has expired or not. Team captin
should provide a score sheet for use for the game. - All reportable items should be submitted on a game incident form linked to the scheduling site. Rule references should
be used from HNA rule book that can be found in members private area on the rules and rule books page - HECC helmets are required for all players, including ear flaps---players found to be in non compliance should be removed
until such time that the helmet is in compliance----a note should be made on the score sheet. - Half-visors if worn should be worn properly--covering eyes---players found to wearing up towards top of helmet should be
removed from game until visor is properly worn. A note should be made on the scoresheet
