Program Elements
Application
A limited number of officials will be invited to apply for this program. Selection process will consist of a written application, on-ice tryout during live game situations and an informal meeting with a member of the Development & Education team. Application for this program is by invitation only.
Conclusion
We are looking for the right officials who are ready to take the next step in their officiating careers. This program will serve a dual purpose: to advance younger officials to higher levels of hockey within the USA Hockey Officiating Development Model, and further develop the core group of officials working the top local games. As our current core group ages, there is important need to develop and retain our younger officials to be ready to carry the load of officiating our top local assignments.
