Equipment Loan Program
MIHOA offers an equipment loan program for first-year Level 1 officials, under 18 years old. The goal of the program is to reduce the initial expense of officiating ice hockey. In order to be eligible, you must be a first-year, USA Hockey Level 1 official who is registered to attend a training seminar and who is under 18 years old.
The program includes a helmet with visor, a jersey, and a whistle. You will need to provide $125 cash, or a check written out to "MIHOA". If you choose to continue with officiating after the completion of the 2025-2026 season, you keep the equipment, and we will cash the check. If you decide not to continue with officiating, we will collect the equipment in the spring of 2026, and your check or cash will be returned to you. There are three dates where loan will be available, I am hoping to add two more in the coming days.
We are currently accepting uniform returns on the following two dates.

- March 28 at Creve Couer rink 3-4 PM (I will be in the main lobby)
- April 4 at Centene noon-1 PM (I will be near the skate rental desk near the Plager rink)
