Equipment Loan Program
Uniform Return Info Below
MIHOA offers an equipment loan program for first-year Level 1 officials, under 18 years old. The goal of the program is to reduce the initial expense of officiating ice hockey. In order to be eligible, you must be a first-year, USA Hockey Level 1 official who is registered to attend a training seminar and who is under 18 years old.
The program includes a helmet with visor, a jersey, and a whistle. You will need to provide a $125 cash, or a check written out to "MIHOA" post-dated May 5, 2025. If you choose to continue with officiating after the completion of the 2024-25 season, you keep the equipment, and we will cash the check. If you decide not to continue with officiating, we will collect the equipment in the spring of 2025, and your check or cash will be returned to you. The equipment will be available at the rink prior to the level one skating sessions. Please arrive 45 minutes early so that we can fit you with your referee equipment.
Uniform loan return dates:
At Creve Coeur, Bob will be inside the main lobby.
At Centene, Rob will set up near the warming area/skate rental desk by the Plager rink.
Please use the attached Google form to indicate your choice. Please fill out the form even if you wish to keep the equipment. If I do not hear from you, I will assume you wish to keep the gear and your check will be deposited in early May.
